Occupo Mei Pectoris o Deus (Capture My Heart oh God)

Artist Statement

This installation consists of seventy-eight raku ceramic vessels on copper tubing that gradually rise upwards as they approach an altar of ceramic and marble. Viewers walk amongst the installation and meditate on their thoughts. These vessels contain prayers, concerns and frustrations inscribed inside.
